Lahore's first science museum

Joy of Science stands on Circular Road in Lahore Cantt. Open every day, 3PM to 10PM.

Before you reach the door

A dinosaur is watching you

A life-sized dinosaur leans out over the forecourt. You see it from the road, long before you park.

The walk in

Three floors of it

Nine zones stacked over three floors, behind one white facade. Parking is right outside.

At the entrance

Someone is expecting you

Our team is on the door every day from 3PM. No queue to join, no booking to show.

The door opens

No reservation needed

Walk in any day of the week. Tickets start at Rs. 800, and you can buy them at the door.

Over the threshold

The museum is below you

Past the glass, the floor drops away. A curved staircase turns down into the Central Foyer.

Down the stairs

The first exhibit is the stairwell

A sea captain and a life ring see you down. The museum starts before you reach the bottom step.

The floor opens up

And there it is

The last few steps turn, and the whole ground floor comes into view at once.

Off the last step

Even the walls teach you something

Fact boards line the route in. Why goldfish remember more than you think. Why hot water can freeze first.

Into the foyer

The Central Foyer

Every zone leads off this one floor. Lit pillars point the way; orange lines on the ground do the rest.

First exhibits

Nothing here says do not touch

The stations start the moment you arrive. Every one of them is built to be handled, pressed and pulled.

Hands-on
100+

Over a hundred of them

More than a hundred interactive exhibits across the museum, each waiting for someone to try it.
